Merry Christmas || A Recap

You bloggers man….are ON your blogging game. I signed into blogger this morning thinking that half the blog world would still be in their post-Christmas depression slump only to find an explosion of Christmas posts in my reader. So even though January….cold, holiday-less, no-reason-to-don-glitter-January, is upon us, I got to revel a little more in everyone else’s Christmas magic this morning.

And now ,bandwagon me's a little recap of my Christmas in South Carolina

Christmas Eve is typically the bigger night at our house. Family comes over and my mom makes an incredible feast. We also take about 747 pictures in which we like about 2.

Every year Shannon also makes a Christmas Jeopardy game for us, all with seasonal trivia. Thank God it's play money because I am not the strongest contestant....I mean, do you know what Frosty said right before he melted?!

Headgear is also a big part of Christmas Eve

Waiting for Santa

Being the excellent blogger that I am, I did not take any pictures on Christmas....but O'Malley can attest to the fact that it was an exciting and exhausting one. We spent our day lounging around and watching movies and eating anything that contained butter and sugar.

Mom and I running some post-Christmas errands

The day after Christmas we took O'Malley to the beach....because it was like 70 degrees. And because we live right near it. It was a beautiful day.

It was this moment when we realized no one brought a towel for him to dry off with on the ride home. I'm sure my dad loves that the interior of his car is now covered in sandy little paw prints.

We had a merry and quiet Christmas and's back to the grind...well at least for two days. Next Up..New Years!!

You are the cutest!! Sounds like a wonderful Christmas!! Christmas eve is the bigger day with my family, and Christmas is the big day with Eric's family. I kind of can't wait to stop traveling so that Eric and I can make our own family traditions that we stick to each year... but don't worry. We won't stop traveling until it gets too hard to play Santa. Then hopefully people will come visit us!
