Makeup for the Nurses

My friend Mariah is a nurse over in China. She travels all over the world with orphan babies who have been born with an abnormality. She travels with them to different doctors who perform corrective surgeries on them. She does amazing, amazing work. She lives in a house with five other nurses and, though they don't get to go out often, when they do, they like to glam it up (what girl doesn't right?)

Anyway, in our emails she was telling me that they look up makeup tutorials on Youtube for these occasions but all of them seem to require numerous products or brushes. Or really expensive products. For the most part, they're able to get drug store products and brands. She asked me to put together a makeup tutorial using some of my favorite drug store products we go. My down and dirty makeup tutorial for a night out!

And I think we can all agree I have a bright future in makeup tutorials (can be read: should keep her day job

Foundation | Eye shadow Palette | Eye Shadow | Mascara
Bronzer | Blush | Lips

TIP: For Brown Eys - Use Browns/Golds/Metallics
For Green Eyes - Use plums/Purples
For Blue Eyes - Use Grays

Brushes I used are above. You can use the same brush for bronzer and blush, just clean off between. I recommend two contouring brushes - one for light colors and one for darker.

Side note...In the eye shadow section, I tell you to bring the cream shadow up to your eyebrow...if you only have one eyebrow, I advise you to leave this post immediately and hit up your nearest waxing salon.

Follow along on Mariah's journeys here. She's also a blogger!

Happy Make-up-ing!

Well I'm not a traveling nurse but I sure appreciated this video! I never wear make up mostly Bc I don't really know what to do with it. The most I do is mascara and lipstick. Could this be the reason for my lack of success on the Tinder?!? Who knows but I enjoyed this :) thanks!
