In stark contrast to the post I wrote Monday night, would be today’s post.

I try really hard to be a positive person just because, well, I assume it’s better for you and no one really wants to be around a rager.

But I have to say that most days, the blog world is eerily reminiscent of Nirvana. Like doesn’t anyone’s hair dryer ever break the morning they’re running late for work? Do I stand alone in being the only person to consistently burn the toast? Does anyone else always experience fire alarms only when  they are not awake and/or not wearing a bra?
NO SLEEP group

Of course I’m reminded that people want to read about bad work days and breakups about as much as they want to watch paint dry. (Well maybe not the breakup part because people love some juicy gossip but….you get the point.)

So I’m just going to come out and say that yesterday I was mad.

Like tell my co-worker what I really think of them, say bad words, slam doors, lay-on-the-horn, pop-the-bird, kind of mad.

I don’t know if I’m going for transparency or blog self-destruction, maybe just a bad rap, but that’s really the end of this post. I didn't get un-mad at the end of day. I’m not going to pull an Anne of Green Gables (even though  I love her) and say that today is a brand new day with no mistakes in it and full of hope. I left the sunny side, the half full glass and all my inspirational Pinterest quotes at home yesterday with not even the slightest desire to go find them.
Every day is a new beginning
Sometimes you just need a day to be angry.

Are you ever just mad?!
Please assure me I'm not alone! :)

now you KNOW I'm always mad ... but that's usually work-inflicted. and WHY did you NOT text me about this yesterday? You know I'm always here!

Usually I am just a creepy lurker reader because I never really know what to say for comments, but this post I absolutely loved. Definitely totally sorry you had a bad day, but sometimes you do wonder if any blogger ever has a bad day, stains their outfit or forgets their eyeliner. And yet someone how you still made me smile in this post.

it's okay to be mad. It happens, it's life and sometimes gosh darn it you wanna say Sh*t instead of poop. haha!

I hope your day turns around and gets better. Being mad fora day or two is fine, but don't let it jade your beautiful outlook on life and charm :)!

I have bad days and bad weeks!!! But hey it's life!! This is not a terrible thing, but on average about 3 days a week I forget to put mascara on...and feel like a weirdo all day! (see it's stupid but we're not perfect haha)

Oh girl-- I have days where I cry I'm so mad. I think most days I just avoid blogging when I'm mad because it would look like a jumbled mess.

Girl - you are most certainly NOT alone!! I have days when I am so mad that I curse and throw things and slam things all day! And I have days that I am so sad that I just sob all day! Totally normal…
I often rant and rave on my blog so that it is REAL!
Hope the week gets better for you x

Heck yeah, keep it real, lady.

I hate foofy "everything is rainbows" blogs.

You're allowed to get mad.

We all know I post the good (my amazing marriage), the bad (Alex's diagnosis) and the ugly. Ok, maybe not the ugly, b/c my kids are pretty cute.
