Labor Day

So, despite wishing everyone on Instagram a Happy Memorial Day, I do realize (now) today was Labor Day. My blog critic....also known as, my sister...has informed me that I blog about our inclement, disgusting weather here in Atlanta too much soooo from here on out, we can just assume it's raining in Atlanta and I will only blog about things I love about Fall (I know it's shocking but I do love Fall) AND today, blog about my awesome Labor Day.

because...really, it actually was awesome.

Saturday morning started with a grueling 11 mile run. It was HARD work but I felt so accomplished after. I'm officially about a month out from my half marathon and I'm getting excited!

Saturday afternoon held some pool time.
Say Snap Chat!

Saturday night I spent with one of my favorite muffins celebrating birthdays and the start of football season.
Here I can be found committing a cardinal USC on a Clemson Game Day. Yik!

On Sunday Whit and I hit up the movies to the see the Spectacular Now. It was so good you guys! Admittedly kind of slow but I loved it. Brought back all those memories of being in love for the first time. Nothing like it. Awesome movie.

Monday morning brought another run. We ran in a 10K. It did rain the whole time but, it was actually beautiful...with a rainbow and everything. And who doesn't feel hard core running in the rain?!

Whitney and I always have to text each other what we're wearing before we go out or this happens....all too often. We get asked all the time if we're sisters or twins...I'm sure this helped our cause.
In true twin fashion, we crossed the finish line together. So much fun.

And finished Labor Day off with lunch with these chicks and the accompanying men. I can't get enough of my friends!

How did you spend your day?!

Sounds like an awesome Labor day weekend! Way to go on 11 miles... that is cray cray. Also, Jurgen would be proud of your for (accidentally) sporting Clemson orange... I may have already told you this, but he spent a semester studying there in 2009. He loved it!

You are such a beauty :) And an inspiration! I'm getting back into running (for the bajillionth time) but this time I'm determined to stick with it. I'm going to sign up for my first half ever in Cincy, it's not until May but I'm excited!
