Falling for you....

Yes, I'm talking to you fall....as in the season....I'm finally getting on board with you. We go through this every year but after devoting some time this weekend to searching out what everyone sees in you, I finally see the appeal.

And on that day when it's time to layer the sweater over the tank top and swap out the cut offs for jeans, I'm documenting it here to remind myself why I actually have come to like you.
Fall!!!!

Pumpkin Carving
Last year I had so much fun pumpkin carving with my friends. Despite the fact that pumpkin carving is freaking hard, we had such a fun night. This year the carver thingies might be replaced with paint brushes but I'm hoping for another night of pumpkins and friends.

Halloween
There are those girls who use Halloween to dress up in their most skin-baring-leave-nothing-to-the-imagination-costumes. And then there's those girls that abandon all thoughts of being the slightest bit sexy on this holiday and dress up as a bath product....or a dinosaur
a clean dinosaur is a happy dinosaur

Warm Nail polish tones
This trend actually couldn't come at a more opportune time considering the two lovely completely black toe nails I am sporting from running.
Autumn Nail Colors - for fingers and toes! #Fall #Manicure #Season #Dark #Colors

Football Season
Unfortunately....I live in the land of bulldawgs (vomit). I'm going to have to search out some fellow gamecock and Irish fans to cheer with but I can definitely deal with replacing sitting around the pool to sitting around the TV with friends. And the one bonus....you can actually eat during said sitting around without feeling like you look 3 months pregnant.
Add your own spin to these bite-size pigs in a blanket by brushing the tops with butter and sprinkling them with poppy seeds, sesame seeds and herbs before popping them in the oven.

Faster Running
I had my first glimpse of fall running this past Saturday and it was 10,000 shades of amazing. I had my last long run of 13.3 miles and, as crazy as it sounds, I felt amazing. It's incredible what some slightly cooler temps can do for a run.
Can't wait for fall runs

Cozy Saturday Mornings
There's nothing better than sleeping in on a Saturday and then making a yummy breakfast and sitting on the couch watching TV in cozy pajams.
Maple Walnut Pancakes -- top with baked apples for a great Fall breakfast!

Ok fall...here we go. I'm ready to surrender my tan (haha yeah right, I'm part Jersey) my summer wardrobe.

And to Summer, from your biggest stage 5 clinger fan, we'll be saying sayonara soon. Even though you were short this year, you were a good one.

What's your favorite thing about Fall?
XO, A

One of my favorite things is that it means the cockroaches will be GONE and I no longer have to fear walking downtown after dark!!!

First rule of falling in love with fall: call it autumn. It sounds prettier.

I keep trying to make Autumn/Fall posts and I feel like they are all lame and no one wants to read lameness. Oh well. I'll try again.

It already feels like fall here and I love it. 50 degrees is the best! I have a feeling we are complete opposites in what we think of colder weather lol.

I suck at pumpkin carving but it is super fun and we always visit the pumpkin patch and get some for me to use for the porch. I haven't dressed up for Halloween In years! I wish I had a reason to dress up this year but I never go anywhere.

I almost bought lots of pretty fall nail polishes at walmart and then I had to stop myself because I don't need any. Yay football! I love football. I don't know a single thing about it but I love it.

My fave thing about fall will be featured in my fall post whenever I stop being lame and get it officially finished. sorry for rambling like usual.
