First

Totally stole this from my boo Erica in hopes that it would be one of those "get-to-know-me-better" blog posts but, after reading it back, I think it just makes me sound incredibly boring.

But I swear in between all the "boring" activities you will see below, it's a real party over here.....I mean we're talking regular dance parties in the living room, Jessica Simpson solos (Smart Water bottles make THE BEST microphones #fact) and pajama fashion shows.

1. First thing you do when you wake up in the morning.

Two to three mornings a week, I run with my girls around 5:45 am so, on those days I stumble into my closet and pick out running clothes. Since I'm typically still asleep for this exercise, I generally show up to run looking like a neon rainbow.

On non-run days, I push the snooze button 736 times and then get in the shower.

2. First thing you reach for when you open the fridge.
Milk or clementines

3. First things you do when you go to the gym.
Enter with earbuds in, avoid eye contact with the mini Polish boot camp instructor and hop on treadmill. I think he secretly hates me since I NEVER join his bootcamp.

4. First thing you do you when you get home from work.
Open my mail, sit on the couch, answer the emails I've missed on my drive home and catch up on Facebook from the day. I have been known to bust out an 8pm nap on occasion

5. First car.
First car was my 2004 Honda Accord named Lola. That girl and I traveled MANY a mile...including my move to Atlanta

6. First car accident / traffic violation.
None (knock on wood...and again just to be safe). Only time I've been pulled over is for driving without my lights on at night....and this may or may not have happened more than once. Maybe I have sueprhero vision....who needs lights?

7. First thing you wanted to be when you grew up.
I'm gonna go with Barbie....and not because I wanted to be blonde with double D's. I'm pretty sure I knew that was a shot in the dark even at age 5. I wanted to be "like" Barbie because she could do whatever she wanted and I wanted to be something different every day. But if my hand was forced, I'd always choose Flight Attendant like my aunt. I LOVE to fly.

8. First choice beverage.
Water.....it's a real party in my house

9. First choice breakfast.
Chocolate milk....I think this technically counts. At least I hope it does because I've counted it as "breakfast" for about 15 years

10. First choice dessert.
Hardest question EVER! I live for dessert. If I were on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I'd be the rotund kid that drowned in the chocolate river. I'm fairly certain I could live off cheesecake and brownies though.

11. First song that comes to mind…

Taylor Swift All Too Well....basically because I listened to it 900 times today

12. First major purchase.
Pippa

13. First job:
My first job was cleaning the nurseries at a church. There were  7 or 8 rooms and let me just tell you, cleaning up after mass baby housing is not a job for the fainthearted. However, I'm basically a Diaper Genie pro.....do Diaper Genie's even still exist?

14. First time you flew on a plane.
To California to see family when I was just a tiny nugget.

What's a first for you this year?

XO, A

I've also always sort of wanted to be a flight attendant (my aunt is also one!) - it just seems so exotic and glamorous :)

My first major purchase also happened this year and it was a car!

Chocolate milk is definitely breakfast! I would be the second rotund kid in The Chocolate Factory...if I had three wishes then one would definitely be to eat all of those unhealthy treats and not gain weight.

Aww I love this! I don't find you boring at ALL girl ;) I'd like your motivation to wake up early and work out... or just uh, go to a gym or something in general!

Anddd I love the Charlie and the chocolate factory reference and photo lol. I'm convinced I could live off Nerds and Skittles.

Chocolate milk is complete acceptable, always and forever. And is it crazy that Charlie and the Chocolate Factory still scares the shit out of me to this day??!! Because it does.

I love this! I wanted to be a flight attendant too! Survey would be great for New Years! I think I might borrow it. :)

My first car was a grey honda accord too! But since I'm like a million years older than you, it was much much older than Lola. It was so old it should have been named Jebediah or something or the sort.

This post was not boring. Or maybe I just enjoy boring posts? haha

I swear I could live off Chocolate Milk and Pepperonis. My two favorite things.

A first for me this year was I got my first job. hallelujah.
