Friday's Letters: Chicago Edition

Dear Courtesy Airport Man....I'm sorry that I'm apparently dyslexic and told you I was parked in 32D when I was really in 23D....thanks for driving me around the whole terminal and helping me find my car.  Dear Chicago.....I know I was a dead tourist-giveaway in my winter coat and gloves but I don't play around....this is not a fire drill. 50 degrees is "freezing" to this girl! Dear deep-dish pizza....are there really any words needed for this letter?  Dear Traffic....I have spent approximately 15 hours in you this week....I am pretty tired of staring at bumpers. Dear Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion....Thanks for being the perfect mindless TV after a long week. 4 hours is a little much but I just couldn't tear myself away from Juicy Joe Guidice. Dear Howling dog that is STILL howling a week later....WHERE are you? I went prowling on all the floors last night and still can't pinpoint you. Please learn to howl numbers so I can rescue you from your irresponsible owners. Dear Courtesy Officer (#2 )....I'm sorry for making you get your police gear on when I called about the howling dog. I seriously doubt you were sitting on the couch in your gun belt, badge and sock bun when I called at 10:30PM. Dear Courtesy Officer #2 (again)....I should probably be reported for the red shorts and pink hoodie you caught me in when you knocked on my door. This is what happens when laundry doesn't. Dear Delta...Please develop an airplane manners guide...everyone knows the middle seat person gets the armrest....and by "everyone" I mean "neither of the people I sat between on yesterday's flight." Dear Ashley...thanks for hosting such an awesome linkup every week. Wish I could have seen you in Chi-town....we were thiiiiiiiiiiisss close.
Ca-ute!
This has nothing to do with Friday...or letters for that fact...I just heart it like I heart cupcakes, and Friday's and you all!

Happy Friday!
XO, A

I love that pic too. And how frustrating you can't find that dog. I can see the culprit from my window. ;( I say nasty things to it in my mind. Yah for Chicago pizza. Yum.

Yes, middle seat passengers get the armrest. It's the tradeoff for the craptastic seat.

Oohh chicago pizza!!! Yumm. I'm with you on the middle seat thing you get both arm rests!!! Glad you had a good trip!

Are you in Chicago now or did you come back? I love that city. Deep dish pizza is delicious and the whole place is just amazing...and I think I would be unnerved to the point of not sleeping and tears if there was a howling dog that I had to listen to all the time.

Oh girl, I hear you! My husband grew up in the area so every time we go to Chicago I stick out because I am way overdressed compared to the locals. I'm like, "Don't mind my parka, but I live in the South..." haha! Also, deep dish pizza - ah-mazing! :)

Found you through the link-up and guuuuurl...noisy neighbors, whether they are dogs or humans are THE WORST! I once had 23947293874 frat boys living a floor below me. I would drop my 5lb. weights in 3 sec. increments on my floor to try to get them to quiet down. Maturity. :)

Okay I am totally reenacting that photo with Zack. Like, I heart it too. And I heart you and your new-found relationships with courtesy officers. Chicago sounds like it was fuuuun! But yeah, not a fan of traffic here either. Yuck.

Happy Friday!!!!

aw, i love your chicago letters! still jealous about your trip there. i miss it so much - as weird as this sounds (cuz i thought i'd never miss it) but i miss the cold weather! probably cuz it's always so hot here. and oh, deep dish pizza. don't even get me started. i could use one or two of those - and i'm not talking slices.

That photo is cute. I only live like 4 hours from Chicago and STILL have never been there. I think I need to fix this soon.
