Coining "Unfearless," red lipstick and some other stuff.

I cannot tell you the countless amount of ridicule I received Monday morning when I posted on Facebook that I was shocked there were not lines pouring out of the Target waiting for the doors to open in anticipation of Taylor Swift's new cd (run-on sentence much).

I guess I just don't understand when people don't hold the same amount of love for Taylor Swift as I do. So today I'm here to clarify just why I love Taylor Swift so much and, by default, why you should too....

She loves unfearlessly. (yes, I know that's not a real word. simmer English buffs) but it's such an important lesson. I think know we I do did too much front-end and long-term evaluation these days...and why? just jump in...and love.

"don't be afraid to jump, then fall"

She makes me want bangs. Darn you Taylor....I know it will be a mistake but I'm contemplating them anyway.

She is literally the only person I know that I actually like red lipstick on

She reminds me it's ok to be silly and young. I can't tell you how many conversations I've had in the past year about how we're "no longer 21" or we're "getting so old," or how "middle-age is coming for us".....but basically, we're not dead. And we're YOUNG. And it's totally ok if we want to wear intensely sparkly dresses, jump on beds or have a ridiculous "i can't believe this! i'm so surprised face!"......even if it's news we've heard before.

She's no ho. Seriously, how many good-girl celebrities have we seen go bad and raunchy? This chicks got integrity and I love her for it.
Here <13

She's tall....Some days I swear every cute human in this world is 5 foot 3 inches or what I like to call "boob level" (well, except for my friend Whit - she's a tall bombshell). But being tall myself, I heart tall people.
awkward boob-level hug

She speaks her mind. If only I'd had the ability to write my thoughts in clever lyrics like "Should've Said No," "Back to  December" or "White Horse" ....if only.

Ok....Taylor Love Fest over.....And I know, I know, I can't convert everybody (the world's a cruel, cruel place) so tell me....whose your ALL-TIME-FAVORITE musician. Aaaand go....
XO, A

I really like Taylor too. People say she looks and sounds the same, but I like that. She holds true to herself and that's all that matters.

GOOD GIRLS RULE!!!!

go on converting! i still haven't heard all the songs because of my sheltered governor's school life composed of endless school. but i LOVE the ones i've heard.
i love you and i hope you have a great day!!

My husband loves her as much as you do, haha! It's true. He wants to fiercely protect her, as if he knows her. When Kanye was mean to her, I thought he was going to jump through the tv and rip Kanye's head off. Soooo, I get the love-fest. She's an amazing role model for women of all ages and just seems so sensitive and vulnerable :)

I like her, too! But my all time fave is Will Hoge! :)

I think she is a great role model too! And I do love her and got her album on opening day, but I'm having a hard time accepting how hipster she is now lol.

Ok. Yes. This is why you are the best. I love that girl. so much. seriously, she makes me happy. she makes Atlanta traffic better. once, there was this girl about 2 years ago who just was a little bit really mean and so she insulted me by saying “go listen to taylor swift or something.” Um…….. you know what I did. I went and listened to taylor swift. Haha. it doesn’t matter if you are 50 something (my mommy) or 26… people love taylor! And if you don’t, you cant sit with me at lunch. :)

aaaaaand also. in closing, austin likes her as well. so thats probably why we tend to get along.

This is a cute post...I kind of love to hate Taylor, but I get it. She is a good girl, which I appreciate and I LOVE another tall girl reppin for the rest of us. When she first came out tho I was annoyed that she was like 17 singing about life and love like she just KNEW....but yeah. Sometimes I catch myself in the shower belting out a tune. Don't tell anyone.

I have to admit, when Taylor first came on the scene I.was.not.a.fan!! I thought, oh just another teeny bopper who will turn crazy soon. What was I thinking, she is sooo great! The more I listen to her and hear about her, the more I love her! Have you heard the song "Ronan" (I'm sure you have) and heard the story behind it? If not, read this..omg.

They're a local AZ family and I've been reading her blog and following her story for a while now. So heartbreaking and amazing.

I'm not a super fan, but I do totally love the fact that she hasn't slutted herself out. That alone deserves respect. :)

You and I could have a Taylor love fest everyday. I love her music, but more than that, I love who she is as a person. You hit every point :)

I am LOVING Red so much...the girl has skills.

As if we didn't know.

I actually have an intense dislike for Taylor Swift. I know I'm horrible. I will admit that her songs are catchy even if they make me insane(although Never Grow Up makes me bawl like a baby. Shhh don't tell anyone).

Also, go for the bangs! I really want some too and I think it may be a bad idea but sometimes you just have to say whatevs and do the crazy hair. We will probably never have a better chance than now while we are young haha

She can rock a red lip. Plus, her hair is always the cutest.
