That time I posted real-life pics

Once upon a time there was a girl named Ashley

And she traveled from the city of Atlanta to her alma mader town of Columbia to see two of her best friends from college and her long-lost sister who should visit her in Atlanta more often.

And we all went to happily tailgate together. And then it began to pour….and 900 of us gathered under a 10x10 tent. And then the sun came out and all the women emerged with beautiful straight hair….except for me who emerged with a poodle cut that was so large it required me to scalp an extra ticket just so me and my hair could fit.

But I got over it….kind of. And spent the day tailgating with my besties like it was 2003 again…..with one little one and a half foot baby nugget addition.

I highly encourage mass reproduction to Kayla and Caleb because they produce seriously precious, adorable children like this
 Touchdown!

We partied hard-core…..It was exhausting.

And then we went to the game where we were surrounded by a family of possibly married cousins and a couple who mistook the bleachers for a stripper pole and a motel 8 bed.

And when we weren’t busy making fun of people watching the Gameockcs kick Vandy butt we danced away to  Sandstorm and tried to convince Joe that the stadium would be a perfect place to get married. It would Joe….it really would.

After the game, Shannon and I went back to Kayla’s house where we stayed up until the wee hours of the morning talking endlessly as only girls can.

In the morning Emmalyn and I read books and played dress up in her enormous closet ….Homegirl has a wardrobe fit for Kate Middleton but we decided on practical jeggings and a boho tunic top. Adorbs

We grabbed breakfast and snapped a few more shots ….and the motherhood gene in me emerged like a glorious sun on a rainy day…I think we all know what this means…..

I need to get a fish.

And then we all drove home where I pondered how amazing my friends and sister who should visit me more often are and how awesome college was the entire way.

The End.

True story, I only had one goldfish my entire life, & yeah I killed it in two days...I shouldn't have kids, or a Goldie. Poor fishy!
Never been tailgating, not a huge Football fan, now Football players, whole different story. Glad your school won.

Totally off topic, my bestie was in SC, but now she's in Atl...I am not sure where in Atl, but she's there...Why am I saying this, idk, but I thought I would share that info...& I am so coming to Atl soon, I swear I will find my husband there.

Good luck with the fish. I've killed countless fish. I make a terrible fish parent. Hopefully you will be better! :)

BOO! I don't know why but most of these pictures are not showing up on my computer so I cannot see the poodle hair, which I was looking forward to. DAMNIT! Sounds fun nonetheless. Go COCKS! ha, I just like to say that. You and Beth are lucky you get to wear shirts that say that.

You can't dress a fish, you know. :)

so glad you had a fun time. that rain was pretty disappointing for a while. we had to tailgate in our car and the windows were fogging up...it was gross/looked like we were making out. who is "we"...that would be me and my mom.

We miss you! I love the comment that stated you can't dress a fish! This is so true! You will make a great mom! We had such a good time and Emmy is taking after her aunt Ashley more and more... She now drinks a cup of chocolate milk everyday! Maybe when we are 80 Emmy will be pushing the chocolate milk boost in us (that's kind of the same right?!)
