Stumpers

Some things in life.....

just aint right......

-Whoever named the small bags of M&Ms  fun-size.” What’s fun about 6 M&Ms?
M&M`s - Fun Size Packets: 5LB Bag
-The fact that Birkenstocks are still sold AND that people actually still buy them

-That after my massive amount of blog swooning, I still have not heard a peep from Ryan Reynolds. What gives Green Lantern?

-The Lions.
I went as a Lions football player for Halloween last year (basically I just liked the color of the jersey and I already had it) but got teased relentlessly b/c they apparently had barely won a single game that year. And this year they’re rocking the house! Maybe I’m psychic.

-Why fat free stuff is more expensive than regular.
Take oreos for example (yes, I am using oreos for my “health example.”) The Fat Free oreo?  Like an entire $1.23 more expensive than the double stuff. And the double stuff has TWICE the creamy filling….tell me how that makes sense?

-How it’s not considered illegal to think of Justin Bieber as a sex symbol. Don’t get me wrong…I’m down with the Biebs. I mean “Mistletoe” and "Eenie Meanie"– who can’t get on board with that? But for real….he’s like 12 years old and 83 pounds.

-Fruit on the bottom Yogurt. I mean, does anyone ever NOT stir the fruit in? I don't get what the benefit is here. You know what would excite me? A label that said "Fruit already stirred in so you don't have to deal with the gross, congealed consistency and thin water layer when you first open the lid."

What stumps you friends?

So true about the M&Ms and Oreos. And RR, what gives? Hit my girl up!

What stumps me is: At my McDonalds, the Sweet Tea is $1 for a big cup. The Unsweetened Tea is regular price (like $2+ for the same size cup). Doesn't the lack of sugar make it LESS expensive??

1) It is MEGA weird to me that Biebs is "hot" as a child.

2) Fruit in the bottom - gross. I guess some people are a sucker for anything that looks different.

3) The "fun" size M&M's are the devil, because I don't feel guilty about it, so I end up eating like 15 bags over three days.

LOL - thanks for the morning laugh, Ash! my co-workers keeps those fun size candies around the office...just can't get away from the temptation lol. i'm curious why fat free items are a little more expensive as well - my pocket doesn't like that very much!

i love your comment "Fruit already stirred in so you don't have to deal with the gross, congealed consistency and thin water layer when you first open the lid." - LMAO

and, yeah the beevs a sex symbol? really? he's sooooo tiny! lol

I totally agree with the fat free comment (and well, everything on your list)! If everyone is so worried about America being obsese and having the children eat healthy, why not make it more affordable? People buy the cheap crap because it's cheaper! I'm guilty of it! :)

AGREED. I hate that healthy food is so expensive. I easily spend $50 a week just in the produce aisle of the grocery store. That could get me 150 boxes of macaroni and cheese!

hahahah this whole list absolutely cracked me up! I hate fruit in yogurt period, but the use of the word "congealed" just made me that much more skeeved out.

I happened to glance at an old pair of birkenstocks I still own while I was getting dressed this morning and thought "wow... when did I buy those?!" I will throw them out... or donate them... promise.

1.23 more for less fat?! that just seems mean

here's a stumper..... why is a bathing suit expensive? like more expensive than regular clothes... it's wayyyy less material. Same goes with undies, I'm talk to YOU, Victorias Secret!

it stumps me when someone reaches into a box of donuts at work that has been there since Monday.

birkenstocks. no words. SWITCH TO TOMS you weirdos!!

Ok. First - fun size m&ms. Who are we kidding here? There is nothing fun about 6 m&ms. Second - never mind. I'm still stuck on fun sized m&ms. seriously? fun sized m&m's. You know what would be fun? a snicker-loaf. No one screams and shouts with joy when they get fun - sized m&ms...but could you imagine the joy at being given a snicker-loaf? It would be great!

This post actually just cracked me up at the end up a pretty pants day, so thank you! You're hilarious, AND you reminded me that I have oreos in the cupboard... definitely my fav person of the day =)

hahahahahahaha birkenstocks, seriously, I remember when they were the coolest thing ever and me and my sisters wore them everywhere. Like you, I can't believe they are still SOLD let alone WORN!!!!

I despise Justin B and WILL NOT listen to his music. I can;t get into something like a song that little boy sings. It has no relevance to me, now Britney Spears? Different story.

oh and ps you look GORGEOUS in that pic of you in the jersey. WANT YOUR HAIR.

LOL, I have to agree with the birkenstocks....not cute! You know what stumps me....when stupid people pull out in front of me and then go below speed limit. I mean, why couldn't you just wait and pull out behind me and go slow?!? Haha, sorry for my rant!

sarah said...

Haha you're right....nothing is fun about 6 m&m's. I always end up eating like 3 packs until I feel like I've gotten my fair share!

Haha.. love this! I hate fun sized candy. It's never enough. I remember that when the Lions lost every game that season. My hubby is a Lions fan and just boughy him a sweatshirt. They are on fire this year!

There is nothing "fun size" about m&ms or my love, twix! Like, really? Fun sizes are the big sizes! That Justin is consider a Sex Symbol, can he even vote yet? Two of my friends play for GSU Football, I think they are #38 & #39...

SERIOUSLY- There is such a thing as Low Fat Oreo's? I did not know that!

I'm so with ya on the yougurt too. A pre-stirred yougurt would definitely be work an extra few cents to me :)

Seashells and Southern Belles said...

gah love these. Fruit on the bottom has always bothered me too, bc first thing I do when I open my yougurt is stir it like it's wet concrete that's going to set if I don't keep moving it. and the fun size m&m comment...hahaha so agree. Who thinks that is fun???
