Awkward and Awesome

Awkward
-Realizing that the slit in your dress you wore to work on the day of your client meeting is higher than you thought and definitely shows some upper inner thigh when angled just right....nothing says professional like a little cheek action.

 this is appropriate right?

-Saying goodbye to everyone at the door of a restaurant and then realizing you’re all parked next to each other

-Calling my friend "gothic" instead of "gorg" and telling her she should really "pollute someone" instead of "be nice to them." #newiphoneuser

Awesome
-Bandaids - I had clients in town last week and by 10am my heels looked like they belonged in the meat aisle at the Krogers. #killerheels. I managed to scalp three band-aids off random people in my office but stilll needed more. My coworker found me in the storage closet and asked if everything was ok. I told him I was on the hunt for Band-aids and next thing I knew he had gone downstairs to buy me Band-Aids! By the end of the night (13 hours later) I had eleven band-aids and two giant gauze bandages on my feet. It's safe to say those shoes are being retired.

-Fun packages from my bloggy bestie, Jess. Girlfran for real knows how to put the best care packages together.

-The fact that I had two, 2-hour naps on  Sunday. After which I woke up, took a swig of prune juice, turned on some Wheel of Fortune and did the crossword puzzle in the back of the TV Guide #iam89yearsold

-That I signed on to do the Atlanta Marathon with 3 of my coworkers at the end of this month – relay style. I'm the token girl - we like to keep it PC. This means I can legitimately say I ran in a marathon right? ;)
What are the Benefits for Runners?

Happiest of Thursdays......to you.

super jealous you are running a marathon! but I am going to get there one day... and maybe we can run the whole thing together ; )

allegedly I'm getting an iphone for my birthday... can't wait for the autocorrect mess to happen.

I think the batman band aids are kick a** , and you should actually just wear them as accessories.

I asked John if he got a "fly shit" when I meant to say flu shot after like 2 weeks of dating... It was embarrassing.

Haha! I have so had that saying-goodbye-but-then-parked-next-to-each-other experience! It really is awkward, haha!

I bet you looked hot in that slit! Were the clients hot? Wait, were they men? Marathon! That's super awesome! I would love to call myself a hard core runner, but who am I kidding? I walk...& like two weeks ago I went running, OMFG! My poor legs hurt for 3 days, & huge blisters, blah...& team Blackberry!

Did you know there was a study done, iphone users have more sex than Blackberry users...

gah I've gone through a whole box of the cloth, old school bandaids (they are the best!) in a week. Breaking in closed toed shoes, flats or heels, is NOT fun!!! and so envious you got an iphone! I know you love it!

Haha... that restaurant thing reminds me of my hubby and our family. We always go out to eat together and say goodbye outside the restaurant. There have been times when we are parked right next to each other lol
