Would You Rather...

Receive $10,000

or

Be able to eat whatever you want and never gain any weight?

This was a question recently asked in USA Today. At first, my response was A - $10,000 can you imagine all the awesome pairs of shoes and designer jeans you could buy amount of money you could save.  But then I decided to go with B. Final Answer.

This answer came to me on the elliptical Monday night. I was elliptical-ing away and this commercial for stuffed crust pizza came on. This mac-daddy had pepperoni and sausage IN the crust. I eat pizza like maybe twice a year – only if someone else is ordering - and usually thin crust. Because let’s be honest - if there is an entire pizza in my house, an entire pizza will be eaten. This is why I have one of the most boring kitchens around. It's true. Regardless, I LOVE pizza. So after seeing that commercial I decided on B.

All this deep thinking came because I was trying not to think about the obnoxious elliptical offender next to me. What is an elliptical offender? It’s that person that chooses the machine RIGHT next to yours regardless of the fact that there are four other ones in the row not being used.
So what would you choose? To be stanky rich – or to be able to eat like a heavyweight with no consequence?

Totally unrelated to the post above.....Me + This Song = Love. It's true

I am totally with you! I wish I could eat all the cupcakes in the world (and cheese, and wine, and French fries, and chocolate...) and never gain weight. A girl can dream, right?

I miss when I could eat anything and everything I wanted and not gain weight..aka in high school! Why does it seem like as soon as we get to college and graduate our bods hate us.

though I am a firm believer that when TOM is in town (time of month), I can eat whatever I want...sort of hah!

though 10 G's would also be nice..oh Ashley why must I choose!? haha

i've actually made an "ugh" noise if someone gets on a machine right next to me if theres a zillion others..does that make me a capital Bitch?

OMG - definitely B. B would be a dream come true. $10,000 - - eh, that's nothing compared to a life of burritos, ice cream cones and cheetos!

you could always win $10,000 by gambling or something. you could never win the chance to eat anything you ever wanted with no consequence.
i'm going with B. hands down.

this is a toughie...

at first i would say $10K, b/c i could afford a trainer. but then i would still be getting fat and have to worry about paying said trainer and working out, etc. so i'm going to go with B too!

b, for sure.

and no offense but i'm totally judging you for only eating pizza twice a year. i could live off pizza, it's my automatic go-to, i love it so hard.

i'm sorry that i've been away for so long, life is totally kicking my ass these days. :)

ok wait if I take the ten g's am I fat? or can I just still be the size I am now? because usually when I eat "whatever I want" I end up feeling totally sick... therefor A seems like a safer answer for me!
I was skinnier in college than I am now because my kitchen was SOOO boring.

Hmm as a total foodie, definitely B! I hate elliptical offenders. I think it has to be a competitive thing because I've noticed that if I change speeds, they do as well. Not cool.

B alllll the way! no shame in vanity :)

Hands down no QUESTIONS asked ... B. I would take that ANY day - even probably over a million dollars. OK, maybe not a million, but maybe I would. Same thing - I was on the elliptical yesterday then the treadmill thinking WHY CANT I INVENT THE SKINNY PILL?? One that allows you to eat whatever you want and NEVER work-out. Damn, that would be the dream. I commend you for pizza only 2 times a year and I am the same way. If it's in my house, I'll eat it. Thus, I try not to bring bad foods into my house. Every once in a while a bag of chips will sneak in and then I immediately hate myself when I can't stop after one pop. FML!

Definitely B haha - there isn't even a question... call me vain, but I think I would still probably choose B if the amount was $100,000.00... life would just be so much easier if you could eat whatever you wanted!

This is a hard one. If you add another 0 I would go with A. But I guess for now I'll go with B.

While $10k would help me out a LOT right now, I'd still have to go with B. Especially with bikini season knocking on our door.

hmmm..interesting question, this actually really has me thinking! i feel kind of guilty, for choosing, b, but it's my choice too!

this is tough and everyone's argument for B is so persuading... but i think i take the cash and go on vaca or pay off loans.... lol.

PS: i'm hosting a GIVEAWAY! hope you'll join in! :)

Tough Question! I guess B, because that $10,000, would be gone real fast, plus the government would tax it, so we're really only talking about $5,000, which isn't that much.
Choice B lasts forever :-)

Definitely B. I didn't even have a second glance at A. Who cares about 10,000 if I can eat pizza and ice cream and cheesecake and Twix all day?
