There she goes...

I've been busting with excitement to share my news with you all but had to wait until I "officially" could. So what's the big news? I'm moving....to Atlanta! I interviewed with a fabulous company (seriously guys, it's the best) on friday and on my way home, they called me and told me I had gotten the postion. Trust me, this girl was excited!

As I was sitting there waiting to go into HR, all that kept running though my mind was "this is the dream."...You know that one job that is just perfect. So this is it. In just three short weeks I will no longer be an "island-dweller" but instead, a "city-dweller" in Atlanta. Yikes! I get nervous of even typing that.

Since I got the call on Friday, life has definitely been a whirlwind. It still doesn't feel real and when people congratulate me, I almost have a hard time thinking of words to say back because I feel in a haze. And did you know that it's possible to feel 9,000 emotions in one day? Well, it is. I think I've felt everything from complete happiness and excitment over a dream realized to utter sadness over having to leave my family four and a half hours away, nervousness over leaving my current job, bittersweetness over leaving my first bachelorette pad and, if I'm honest, maybe a little twinge of fear over the unknown.....and every emotion in between all those. I'm completely exhausted by 9pm over "feeling so much!"

For those of you who don't know, this is something I've wanted for a long time - I still don't think a day has gone by that I'm not in awe over this answered prayer and that everything has fallen into place the way it has. Sometimes it amazes me that out of the millions of people praying, God heard me. Crazy!

So lots of new things coming my way in the next three weeks (which may explain any blog disappearances). But, I'll be excited to share it all.
