Monday Mash-Up

Uh-Oh…..it happened again – bloggers block. I don’t have anything too exciting to report on. My weekend consisted of a drive to and from Atlanta in one day – a complete twelve hour turnaround trip, getting lost in my own town (sadly, this happens more than I’d like to admit) and beginning to compile a very lengthy “to do for the move” list. So since my mind is currently on wrapping things up at work, uhauls (how lovely) and deciding between dish or cable….I’ll leave you with a few pictures that have inspired me lately.
Happy Monday lovelies.

Kristin and I were supposed to go to the Circus this weekend but sadly, we mixed up Saturday’s show times with Sunday’s actual show times. Kind of a bummer – we were really hoping they’d let us pet or ride something ;) My favorite animal is the lion; sad I didn’t get to see any of these mighty fur-babies this weekend.
I think I’ve mentioned before that I’m a minimalist. So while you’ll find just a couple picture frames dotting the flat surfaces in my home, I like to get creative on my walls. I want to do something exciting and unexpected in my new place.

While I greatly anticipated the colder weather and all its accompanying holidays, my tolerance for frigid temperatures is short lived. I’ve enjoyed my stint of tights and boots and cozy scarves, but I’m ready for sun-kissed skin, bright colors and leaving the uggs in the closet.

Ruffles are trending this year and I could not be happier

I’m loving chandeliers lately – and I’m loving them in unexpected places like bedrooms or hallways. Maybe I’ll get adventurous and add one to my new home in ATL?!

Love….and the excitement that new love brings.

What's Inspiring You This Monday?

Thanks for commenting this morning - isn't it funny how we have to PLAN time to relax? Such an irony, isn't it? But then again, I can tell you right now that my next relaxation weekend isn't until March (boo), which is why I relished this one so much :)

Such a bummer that you missed the circus - the lions are one of my faves too. That turquoise chandelier is amazing, and I also am lusting for sundresses, sandals, and bright colored accessories once more. Have a great Monday! xo

I love chandeliers lately, too! Especially somewhere where you wouldn't expect! I saw one in this girl's closet! I am begging my hubby to let me have one when we move. Haha!

Great pics and inspiration!

I think my monday was pretty inspiration-less. But I'm working on that...after my to-do list is complete (if that ever happens!) I'm going to try and get inspired to jazz up my blog a little...

That lion made me smile. Sorry to hear about the circus (though it seems best to view lions via the internet. Less chance of being mauled)
