Here We Come A-Caroling....At Your Local Olive Garden!

I always say that my office is freakishly similar to "The Office" on tv. People often don't belive me-I'm sure they think I'm just trying to find similarities in myself and an extremely popular tv show.

But when I share this little gem of a story, I think it's a little more believable.

Flashback to the office Christmas party last year - we all went out to lunch at a medium-scale italian cuisine restaurant. Our accountants daughter kind of grew up in the office so she takes a hiatus from school each year on that day to join us. Since we were a group of about 8, they seated us on this little platformed table in the restaurant.

So after we'd ordered and we're just mingling while waiting for our food [Sidenote: I find it is sometimes VERY difficult to make "small talk" with people you spend 8 hours with every day - you pretty much have talked about everything.] boss begins to pass out sheets of paper. As I stared down at the page - horror struck. LYRICS! To Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nose-Reindeer, all stanzas - which we were then forced to sing in the Unneccessary!

So, the annual Christmas party is today and I'm crossing my fingers for no public choral-ing or any other imaginitive forms of public humilation!
